Kursthema: „The Postcolonial World: Empire and Aftermath – Political Responsibility & Consequences“
For the 70th anniversary of the Partition of India (1947) we have examined the circumstances of this event more closely. Helped by the new film „The Viceroy’s House“ we have analysed historical sources and studied the long term consequences of this partition, i.e. the ongoing conflict between India and Pakistan, „best“ seen in the Kashmir conflict.
